Fidya
Fidya is the required compensation for individuals who are permanently unable to fast due to health or other valid long-term reasons. For each missed fast that cannot be made up, feeding a person in need is prescribed. In this way, personal limitation is transformed into meaningful support for others.
The rulings regarding Fidya are clearly defined in Islamic law. It must be directed to eligible recipients and serve their essential needs. Proper and responsible distribution is therefore essential.
As IMG International Relief Organization, we ensure that your Fidya contributions are delivered to verified beneficiaries in our project regions. Distribution is conducted in coordination with local partners, documented carefully, and implemented with full respect for the dignity of recipients.
By giving your Fidya—especially during Ramadan—you help families facing hardship secure their basic needs. We stand for a structured, accountable, and principled implementation of this religious responsibility.
