Zakat is one of the most fundamental acts of worship in Islam. In the Qur’an, it is frequently mentioned alongside prayer, underlining its central importance. In fact, Zakat is referred to in 32 verses of the Qur’an, clearly emphasizing its significance for Muslims. Compared to many Muslim-majority countries around the world, we as Muslims living in Europe—often in relative prosperity—carry a responsibility to fulfill our Zakat in accordance with Qur’anic guidance and to ensure it is utilized in the most effective way.

Distributions are carried out under the supervision of our observers, ensuring that the dignity of those in need is fully respected.
